Hogan Ephraim will get a chance to stake his claim for a first-team place when QPR play MK Dons on Tuesday.
Ephraim, recently back from a loan spell at Charlton, is desperate to re-establish himself under Mark Hughes having been left out of former boss Neil Warnock’s 25-man Premier League squad.
He was an unused substitute for Sunday’s defeat at Newcastle but is set to feature in this week’s FA Cup third-round replay.
Summer signing DJ Campbell, whose season has been blighted by injury and illness, is also hoping to play.
