QPR have offered Ajax £5m for their Icelandic striker Kolbeinn Sigthorsson.
Rangers were interested in the 24-year-old last season but he was reluctant to play in the Championship.
Their promotion back to the top flight potentially paved the way for a move for Sigthorsson, who has scored 24 goals in 59 league appearances for Ajax.
He arrived in Holland in 2010 when he was signed by AZ Alkmaar and he moved to Amsterdam a year later.
QPR boss Harry Redknapp watched him in action in a match against Feyenoord earlier this year.
Redknapp has also expressed some interest in former Arsenal forward Eduardo, 31, who almost joined the R’s from Shakhtar Donetsk in January.
