Doughty’s Swindon loan spell extended

Michael Doughty’s loan spell at Swindon has been extended for the rest of the season. 

The 23-year-old midfielder has made one appearance for the League One side since being signed from QPR on a month’s loan.

Doughty has made 12 first-team appearances for Rangers, the most recent of which came in this month’s FA Cup defeat at Nottingham Forest.

It is Doughty’s sixth loan spell – he has previously spent time at Crawley, St Johnstone, Stevenage, Aldershot and Gillingham.
