Leroy Fer returned to action for QPR’s development side on Tuesday afternoon.
The Dutch midfielder played an hour of the game against Crewe at Rangers’ Harlington training ground, as did Sandro, who scored the opening goal in a 3-1 win for the home side.
Fer has been sidelined with the knee problem which last month led to Sunderland pulling out of deal to sign him on loan.
Sandro, meanwhile, is building up his match fitness having recently returned to the country after a longstanding issue with his visa was finally resolved.
Teenage winger Mide Shodipo scored twice for Rangers, whose line-up also included Jay Emmanuel-Thomas.
