Sandro has been given the all-clear to return to training after suffering a knock to the head during QPR’s defeat against Southampton.
The recent signing from Tottenham, back after a knee problem, went off at St Mary’s following a collision after only eight minutes.
He was substituted as a precaution, much to the frustration of manager Harry Redknapp, who indicated that he believed Sandro could have played on.
Redknapp said: “If it’s very bad then obviously you can’t expect him [to carry on] – if something went wrong we’d all be sorry. But at half-time he didn’t seem like there was a lot wrong with him to me.
“The medical people have got to be careful now. They can’t take a chance. If anything went wrong they’re in massive trouble.”
