QPR could consider allowing third-choice goalkeeper Brian Murphy to leave on loan even though he is part of their 25-man squad.
Mark Hughes planned to loan out the Irishman prior to including him rather than Radek Cerny in the squad submitted to the Premier League earlier this month.
And the Rangers boss could still let Murphy go on a short-term deal if the right offer came in.
Hughes told West London Sport: “We’ve got very good keepers and we obviously can’t leave ourselves exposed if they get injured.
“Having said that, if we can see a solution that will enable Brian to have some games then we will investigate it.
“Brian’s done great. It’s been really hard on him because bringing in Julio Cesar and Rob Green has impacted on him. His attitude has been first class.”
