QPR man’s condition still causing concern
QPR’s Armand Traore is still not able to play a full 90 minutes, manager Mark Hughes has admitted.
Traore, who has been nursing a leg injury, was taken off midway through the second half of last weekend’s draw with Everton.
He is in contention to start today’s game against his former club Arsenal but his condition is still causing Rangers concern.
“He’s still not up to completing 90 minutes because of the nature of his injury,” said Hughes.
“We can give him a certain amount of game time, but over and above that he starts to get a stressed response from it, so to protect him we have to take him off.”
R’s captain Ji-sung Park is hoping to overcome a knee problem in time to play at the Emirates Stadium.
The South Korean was forced to miss training earlier this week but was able to take part in Friday’s session.
