QPR boss Mark Warburton says Luke Amos’ comeback continues to go well.
The midfielder is working his way back from the second anterior cruciate ligament injury of his career.
Amos has yet to return to full training but has been involved in the squad’s preparations for the new season.
“He’s getting there,” said Rangers manager Warburton, who is expected to sign new contract before the campaign gets under way.
“It’s still non-contact, but he’s in drills with the players which is great to see.
“You will not see a more dedicated professional than Luke, who has suffered the frustration of two ACLs and has responded so well.
“He’s still a few weeks away but he’s working very, very hard.”
Meanwhile, Warburton’s assistant John Eustace has turned down the chance to take over as Swansea City manager.
And QPR are set to complete the signing of Moses Odubajo, who scored in Saturday’s win against Manchester United.
