QPR keeper Lumley thanks Doncaster after loan spell
Joe Lumley has thanked Doncaster following the end of his loan spell at the Yorkshire club.
Rovers have been in talks with QPR about keeping the goalkeeper, whose current contract at Loftus Road expires at the end of the season.
But Motherwell coming in for Liam Kelly means Rangers are now reluctant to let Lumley leave.
West London Sport revealed on Tuesday morning that Kelly was set to join Motherwell on loan for the rest of the season.
Both Lumley and Kelly were leapfrogged by Seny Dieng, who is now firmly established as QPR’s first-choice keeper.
Lumley posted on Instagram: “End of my loan spell(s) with @drfcofficial Thanks for having me! I wish the club all the best.”
