Buzsaky happy to put contract talks on hold
Akos Buzsaky says he has been given no indication if he will be retained by QPR this summer and has barely thought about his future.
Buzsaky, who scored in the 3-0 win over Swansea on Wednesday, is one of several Rangers players whose contract expires at the end of the season.
“My contract runs out in the summer and I don’t really know what’s going to happen,” said the Hungarian.
“I’ve honestly not thought that far forward. I know it’s only six weeks away, but at the moment the target is for QPR to stay in the Premier League.
“Then, if the board and manager think I’m good enough for this club they will offer me something. If not, then that’s a different scenario.
“The focus is on staying up. We worked hard to get here and must not go down. I’m not thinking about anything else.”
