QPR defender Grant Hall appears to be facing several weeks on the sidelines with a foot injury.
The centre-back, who has been outstanding for the R’s this season, had to be substituted at half-time in Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at MK Dons.
His condition has since been assessed and Rangers do not believe Hall, 24, will make a swift return.
“He’s going to be out for a few weeks and it’s going to be a big miss for us,” said manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
But Hasselbaink paid tribute to Clint Hall after the veteran defender replaced Hall for the 2-0 win against Derby.
