QPR launch campaign to improve atmosphere
QPR have launched a Make Some Noise campaign in an attempt to improve the atmosphere at Loftus Road.
The club say the campaign is a response to feedback from fans.
It will involve flyers on every turnstile as supporters enter the stadium for Saturday’s match against Reading, when Rangers will also be officially launching The Forever R’s Club, their newly-formed ex-players association.
“Loftus Road is a stadium renowned for its unique matchday atmosphere, which is something QPR supporters should be rightly proud of,” chief executive Lee Hoos told Rangers’ website.
“However, the general feeling amongst the supporters I consulted with was that it’s lost its way a bit in recent years for one reason or another.
“On the positive, though, the over-riding feeling was that we can get it back to what it once was and that’s where the fans have a bigger role than ever to play.
“We’re encouraging the Rangers supporters to make as much noise as they possibly can throughout the 90-plus minutes on a matchday, because it really does make a difference.”

How about QPR playing some exciting football. That’s why there is no atmosphere. The football has been sleep inducing!
