QPR are interested in a potential deal to sign Chelsea right-back Dujon Sterling on loan as a replacement for Darnell Furlong, who is poised to join West Brom.
Furlong, 23, the son of former Blues and R’s striker Paul, is on the verge of a permanent move to the Baggies for a fee of around £1.5m.
He made 29 appearances last season and has played 72 times for the club since making his debut as a teenager in the Premier League in February 2015.
Chelsea academy product Sterling, 19, has made two first-team appearances for the Blues – both as a substitute.
But he played 40 games on loan for League One side Coventry City last season.

Perhaps we will play 4 goalkeepers 3/4 midfielders / defenders, cos we sure as hell can't play with any strikers, because we don't have any!!, confused .com!!!?????
ANYTHING for Furlong will be a bonus, good luck to the Baggies if they think they have snapped up a bargain - just an average Championship player. We need far better players if we want to progress. Where are our strikers???
Some of the QPR decision making at the moment beggars belief. Two weeks until the start of the season and the team seems unfinished & unprepared.
