QPR boss wants young Man Utd striker
QPR boss Harry Redknapp is interested in signing England Under-21 striker Will Keane on loan from Manchester United.
Keane, who turned 21 earlier this month, has recently been on loan at Wigan.
“He’s a good young player and someone we’re interested in,” confirmed Redknapp, who is also hoping to tie up deals for Wolves striker Kevin Doyle and Fulham defender Aaron Hughes later today.
A deal for Keane could go through when the loan window opens if Rangers are unable to take him to Loftus Road before tonight’s deadline.
Redknapp is keen to sign at least two forwards, especially in light of news that top scorer Charlie Austin faces a prolonged spell on the sidelines with a shoulder injury.
