QPR in talks with Young
QPR have entered talks with Aston Villa’s Luke Young after having an offer for the former England defender accepted.
Rangers manager Neil Warnock is hoping to complete the signing of the 32-year-old in time for him to play against Wigan on Saturday, although Young has been nursing a knee problem and may not be fit.
Warnock is short of options at right-back as Kieron Dyer has a foot injury and Bradley Orr suffered a groin strain against Rochdale in midweek.
Young, who started his career at Tottenham, joined Villa from Middlesbrough for £5m in 2008 and has also played for Charlton.
He has started in both Villa’s Premier League games this season, against Fulham and Blackburn.
