QPR have bid for Wigan’s Perch accepted

QPR have had a bid for James Perch accepted by Wigan.

The versatile 29-year-old, who can play in defence or midfield, is expected to complete a move to Loftus Road in the next 48 hours after Rangers and Wigan agreed a fee.

Perch has made 95 appearances for the Latics since being signed from Newcastle in 2013.

He was previously at Nottingham Forest, making more than 200 appearances for the East Midlands club.
