QPR duo win player of the year awards
Grant Hall and Tjaronn Chery have picked up QPR’s player of the season awards.
Centre-back Hall, who joined from Tottenham in the summer, has capped an impressive first campaign at Loftus Road by being named supporters’ player of the year.
Dutch midfielder Chery, who has scored 10 goals this term, won the Ray Jones players’ player of the year and the Junior Hoops’ player of the year awards.
The Daphne Biggs supporters’ young player of the year award went to Darnell Furlong for the second season in a row.
Junior Hoilett, meanwhile, won the Kiyan Prince goal of the season award for his strike in the 3-0 win over Brentford in March.
Alan Barnes, who was injured while travelling to Rangers’ game at Nottingham Forest earlier in the season, has been voted supporter of the year by his fellow fans.
