Midfielder Akos Buzsaky is expected to miss QPR’s visit to Aston Villa.
Buzsaky played against Chelsea at the weekend despite nursing an Achilles problem but is likely to have to sit out Wednesday’s match.
Heidar Helguson, who was taken off at half-time on Saturday, is also a major doubt for the trip to the Midlands because of an ongoing groin problem.
And strikers DJ Campbell and Jay Bothroyd are resigned to missing out again because of hamstring injuries.
Manager Mark Hughes confirmed: “Heidar is still very sore. It’s a problem he’s been managing for some time.
“Akos has discomfort in his ankle again and is a doubt. And DJ and Jay, who didn’t play on Saturday, are unlikely to be involved as well.”
