Jordan Hugill and Joe Lumley are available for QPR’s FA Cup tie against Sheffield Wednesday tonight but Mark Warburton has suggested that Yoann Barbet will not be involved.
Hugill and keeper Lumley missed the recent win against Leeds at Loftus Road, where Lumley’s replacement Liam Kelly saved a penalty.
Barbet is back in training after injury but manager Warburton told the club website that the defender is likely to feature for Rangers’ development side before being considered for a first-team return.
Warburton said: “Jordan is looking fit and strong. Joe is looking fit and strong and Yoann is out on the grass.
“Yoann has been out for an extended period of time but he’s been back in full training with us as of Monday.
“He probably needs an Under-23s game to get some match minutes back into his legs.
“It’s nice to have Yoann back – we have missed his left-sided balance – and he is a welcome addition back to the squad.”
