Trabzonspor 1 QPR 1
Shaun Wright-Phillips netted a late equaliser in Germany, where recent signing Junior Hoilett made his QPR debut.
Turkish side Trabzonspor took a 58th-minute lead when Volkan Sen latched on to a pass and lifted the ball over keeper Rob Green.
But Wright-Phillips hit back for Rangers with a cracking strike eight minutes from the end.
And they finished the game strongly, with Djibrl Cisse hitting the post and Clint Hill also going close.
In the first half, Hoilett had an early chance to score when he fired wide after being set up by Jamie Mackie, who later had an effort saved after being released by Ji-sung Park.
Kieron Dyer, who came on as a substitute at Wycombe on Tuesday after nearly a year on the sidelines, was also in the starting line-up.
