QPR believe James Perch could return to training the week after next.
Perch, 32, was expected to be sidelined until next year after suffering a dislocated kneecap against Wolves in August.
But he has responded so well to treatment Rangers now expect him to be in contention for a first-team return after next month’s international break.
Captain Nedum Onuoha, who has hamstring tear, is on course to be available again in December.
But Grant Hall has suffered setback in his attempted comeback from a persistent knee problem.
Meanwhile, Rangers defender Jack Robinson has been ruled out of Saturday’s game against bottom side Bolton.
