QPR defender hoping to face Everton
Luke Young hopes to be available for QPR’s vital game against Everton on Saturday.
The defender suffered a hamstring injury during Rangers’ recent defeat against Wolves and has missed their last two matches.
He had hoped to return to training last week but was not fit enough to join the rest of the squad.
Young is now aiming to train in the next couple of days and could be in contention to face the Merseysiders.
“We’ll have to wait and see how he is,” said manager Mark Hughes.
“He was hopeful of joining in with training on Thursday but didn’t make it. Hopefully he’ll be an option at the weekend.”
