QPR expect Lee Wallace to be unavailable for another fortnight because of a calf problem.
The defender, 33, suffered the injury during the home defeat against Bristol City.
Manager Mark Warburton explained: “He tweaked a calf. It’s low in the soleus muscle, which is one of the more difficult ones.
“So we’re probably looking at a couple of weeks, unfortunately.”
Rangers have been assessing Bright Osayi-Samuel and Osman Kakay ahead of Tuesday’s game against Stoke.
Both players went off after picking up injuries against Reading on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Warburton says QPR will “look at what’s best” when the future of keeper Joe Lumley is discussed next month.
