QPR consider making improved offer for McKenna
QPR are considering making another offer for Scott McKenna after having a bid for the defender turned down by Aberdeen.
The R’s have offered close to £3m for the Scotland centre-back, who has attracted interest from several Championship clubs.
Boss Mark Warburton wants to bring in McKenna, 22, and offload Toni Leistner.
West London Sport recently revealed that Rangers are looking to get rid of Leistner, having previously revealed that the club are looking to sell Massimo Luongo.
West London Sport also recently revealed that QPR now have some money to spend in the transfer market.
They are looking to invest that by signing McKenna but Aberdeen are reluctant to let him go.

yeah, thats what we need another, centre back. lets go into the season with a 20 year old from brighton who’s never scored a goal outside the slovenian league and a geezer who scored 6 goals on loan at boro last season
just seen warburton do an interview on sky where they’re talking about how exciting the news season is… i do not share their optimism
freeman, wells, smith, hemed… all experienced c’ship performers, you’re looking at probably over half of our goals or assists last year…
where are their replacements?
this is the same board that appointed McClaren last year when anyone with a braincell could see it was a terrible appointment
i like warburton, he is a good manager and i think we’ve signed some decent defensive players, but i cannot see where our goals are coming from

Just goes to show what a crap squad we had – next to no takers apart from a couple of cheap sales and a few giveaways. looks like quality players are now arriving (and not before time).
