QPR confirm signing of Morrison

QPR have confirmed the signing of Ravel Morrison on loan from Lazio for the rest of the season.

Rangers have the option of signing the 23-year-old on a permanent deal in the summer.

Morrison, who had a spell on loan at Loftus Road in 2014, has recently trained with the R’s.

He was keen to return to England, having failed to make an impact since moving to Italy from West Ham two years ago.

Negotiations with his representatives over personal terms stalled before eventually progressing on Tuesday afternoon as the 11pm transfer deadline drew closer.

Earlier, QPR completed the signing of striker Matt Smith from Fulham.
