At least one more set to leave QPR today
QPR are expected to confirm the departure of Dan Darbyshire and possibly Axel Prohouly later today as part of a clearout of youngsters at Loftus Road.
West London Sport revealed last week that Danny Rowe, Darbyshire and French forward Prohouly were set to have their contracts terminated by mutual consent after being told they had no future at the club.
Winger Rowe was signed last year after being released by Leicester. His departure was confirmed by QPR on Monday.
Prohouly, 20, was signed in the summer of 2015 after being released by Monaco. Like Rowe and youth product Derbyshire, he has not made a first-team appearance for Rangers.
Talks with Prohouly are ongoing, while on Monday evening Darbyshire’s release had been all but agreed.
Having recently sold Yeni Ngbakoto, parted company with Steven Caulker and loaned Sean Goss to Glasgow Rangers, the R’s recently terminated the contracts of youngsters Reece Grego-Cox and Michael Petrasso by mutual consent.
And midfielder Brandon Comley last week made a permanent move to Colchester United, where he had been on loan.
