Fernandes responds to fans on Twitter over Freeman
Tony Fernandes has again responded to QPR fans on Twitter after being urged not to sell Luke Freeman.
It comes after Blackburn offered Rangers £4m for the midfielder on the eve of the transfer deadline.
Co-chairman Fernandes tweeted that Freeman was “not for sale” after a recent approach from Middlesbrough was rejected by the club.
QPR were on Wednesday night considering Blackburn’s offer, but Fernandes has declared “all offers rejected” and described messages from unhappy R’s fans as “very tiring.”
Very tiring reading all these tweets on Luke freeman. All offers been rejected . We are doing our best to strengthen not weaken. At least we have players that others want. A far cry. Slowly building the right foundation.
