QPR boss Redknapp rules out Cesar exit
QPR manager Harry Redknapp insists he has not received an approach for Julio Cesar and the goalkeeper is not for sale.
Manchester United and Arsenal are reported to be keen on the Brazil international and he has also been linked with Real Madrid.
But Redknapp says he is unaware of any serious interest in Cesar, who moved to Loftus Road from Inter Milan last summer.
“He’s been fantastic and you can understand why any top club would want him, but no-one’s enquired to me. I don’t think there has been anything,” said the R’s boss.
It has been suggested that Rangers are looking to offload either Cesar or second-choice keeper Robert Green in order to cut the club’s wage bill.
But Redknapp said: “I wouldn’t want to sell either of them. We need to keep them both.”
