QPR boss planning scouting trip
QPR manager Ian Holloway says he will use the international break to check on potential transfer targets.
West London Sport recently revealed that former R’s striker Gary Penrice is in line for a return to Loftus Road at chief scout and that Kevin Reeves will also be offered a role.
In the meantime, Holloway will take the opportunity to look at lower-division players the club have identified as possible signings ahead of the summer transfer window.
“I can watch some slightly lower football and see if there’s any gems out there,” Holloway said.
“I’ll catch up with my scouting network to see where they might want to send me just to have a little look.”

Thank goodness we are returning to the tried and tested scouting systemsts an old cliche but all great players start somewhere, the trick is to spot them before anyone else does, however without a scouting team in place, we were never going to spot anything, hence a lot of our problems for the last decade.
