Wallace could return for QPR at Blackpool
QPR believe Lee Wallace could return to first-team action against Blackpool a week on Saturday.
Sam Field is playing in an Under-23s game this afternoon, having not featured this season because of a knee problem.
And Wallace is also close to playing again following a hamstring injury which has kept him out for more than two months.
Rangers, who face Nottingham Forest on Friday, will assess the Scot early next week before manager Mark Warburton decides whether to include him in the squad to travel to Blackpool.
Warburton said: “He’s probably a few days behind Sam. He’s been out on the pitch working with the sports science boys.
“I think Forest will be too soon for him, certainly. We’ll see how he goes the following week, whether he’s ready to be involved at Blackpool or not.”
