Ian Holloway has told QPR’s website he has set up a players’ committee to help the “dressing room to run itself.”
The Rangers manager says he wants a seven-man committee to discuss issues with him on behalf of the playing squad.
Nedum Onuoha, James Perch, Jamie Mackie, Matt Smith, Alex Smithies and Ryan Manning will be part of the group, with one more player set to be added.
“We have got a committee now who are actively involved in what we do and how we do it. I want their input,” Holloway said.
“There are six members at the minute, and I will soon be increasing that to seven. I want it to be an odd number so that when they vote on something, there’s a clear decision from them when I need it.
“Other times, I will explain my decisions over certain matters to them, and they will go out and explain to the rest of the group. They will take on responsibility for that.
“If there’s an issue, for instance a disciplinary matter, I will have that group in and explain what needs to be done and why it needs to be done. They can then explain my reasons for the decision I’ve made.
“This helps the dressing room to run itself, to govern itself. I want them to be part of what I’m trying to build here.”

I thought IH was supposed to be managing the team, now he is not even doing that, a committee will be making the decisions, so why ,do we need IH??. This is Mr Holloway preparing to make the excuse that the committee made the decisions so he is not to blame for our failures, how much more are the fans expected to take ,this is the thin end of the wedge, for goodness sake someone get a grip of our club.
i think this is a player we will regret letting go loads of potential a grafter
