QPR and West Bromwich Albion are in talks over a potential move for Sandro.
The Brazilian midfielder, one of several players Rangers want to remove from their wage bill, could join the Baggies on loan with a view to a permanent deal.
Sandro, 26, moved to Loftus Road from Tottenham for £6m in 2014 and has since made just 26 league starts.
Rangers discussed potential loan deal with AC Milan during the summer but were unable to reach an agreement.
They now hope to offload him to Albion, who are also interested in R’s winger Matt Phillips.
Meanwhile, QPR have rejected an approach from Maccabi Tel Aviv for Tjaronn Chery.
