QPR are in talks with Tottenham over the proposed loan signing of Jake Livermore, which is on hold because of a knee injury suffered by Sandro.
Spurs midfielder Sandro faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines having limped off during Saturday’s draw with the R’s – after an agreement had been reached for Livermore to spend the rest of the season at Loftus Road.
It has been reported that Tottenham have subsequently scrapped the loan move and that Livermore will stay at White Hart Lane.
But Rangers remain hopeful the 23-year-old England international will join them in due course, particularly if Spurs are able to sign a midfielder.
The north London club are currently assessing their options. QPR do not expect Livermore to join them before this weekend’s derby at West Ham.
