QPR academy players arrested for alleged voyeurism
Two QPR academy players have been arrested on suspicion of voyeurism.
They were detained on Thursday following a report of a crime at a nightclub in Kingston, south-west London, on 5 February.
They were subsequently arrested at QPR’s training ground in Heston.
The players, who are both in their late teens, were taken into custody and later bailed until a date in early April.
QPR said in a statement that the club was aware of an alleged incident involving two academy players and added that the individuals were helping police with their inquiries.
“As this is an ongoing investigation, the club will not be making any further comment at this time,” the statement added.
Voyeurism is the act of achieving sexual gratification or pleasure from watching others undertaking private acts. The crime carries a penalty of up to two years’ imprisonment.
