Ian Holloway is convinced QPR will climb away from trouble.
The 2-1 loss against Huddersfield – Rangers’ eighth home league defeat of the season – left them 19th in the Championship table, just five points above the relegation zone.
Holloway said: “We’ve probably got to win five or six games, so we’ve got a big margin for error.
“I saw enough out there to convince me that we are a good group. I couldn’t be more proud of them.
“We’re disappointed to lose again, but if we keep playing like that’ll we’ll be fine.”
Rangers created early openings but fine goals from Izzy Brown and Nahki Wells left them 2-0 down at half-time.
Luke Freeman pulled a goal back in the second half but they were unable to find an equaliser.
“We created three or four chances before they scored,” Rangers boss Holloway said.
“We let the first goal in almost out of nothing and then, before you know it, it’s two.
“We had a mountain to climb but I was delighted with the lads’ effort.
“Unfortunately, this league is about taking your chances, and we created more than enough.
“I can’t fault any of them. I feel sorry for them at the minute. They’re not getting what they deserve out of things.
“They know what stats I want and I guarantee when I look at them that we’ll have outrun nearly all of their players.
“Unfortunately, their players slipped out of the net and banged it in twice.
“That’s what a venomous snake does to you. It bites you – and we got bitten twice.”

How come we're now grateful just to stay in the Championship so quickly after coming down from the Premier League?
if IH is serious about winning 5-6 games we must start with our best eleven and not leave three or four of our better quality players on the bench, he also has to face facts that some of our players don't possess the quality needed, so play your best eleven without fear and go all out to win.The new players have to be integrated into the team immediately, we don't have the luxury of time for them to settle in utilise our weaker players as impact players and be positive.
