James Perch featured for QPR’s development side in a match against Charlton on Monday afternoon.
Perch, who played in a behind-closed-doors game last week, completed the 90 minutes against the Addicks and appears to be close to a first-team return after five months out with a knee injury.
Rangers won 5-1 at their Harlington training ground, where their line-up also included Bright Osyai-Samuel, who scored twice, and Joel Lynch.
Aramide Oteh also scored twice and Chay Tilt added the hosts’ fifth goal.
Osayi-Samuel got an early opener, netting from close range following Olamide Shodipo’s cross, before Oteh doubled the lead after being found by Ryan Manning’s pull-back.
The third goal arrived four minutes into the second half courtesy of Osayi-Samuel, who burst from near the halfway line and then slotted home.
Shodipo crossed for Oteh to make it 4-0, and Tilt, a midfielder signed from West Brom during the summer, scored immediately after coming on as a substitute.
After QPR went close to scoring a sixth when Romeo Akinola hit the post after being set up by Eberechi Eze, Jo Cummings headed in a late consolation for the visitors.
