Nedum Onuoha says Bobby Zamora has made an impact at QPR and can play a key role in keeping the club in the Premier League.
Zamora has not been on the winning side since moving to Loftus Road from Fulham, where he played under R’s boss Mark Hughes last season.
But defender Onuoha insisted: “He’s made a real impact and is a real good target man.
“When he plays it gives us a great option because you know he’s going to look after the ball. It takes a lot of pressure off the side.
“Sometimes in the past we’ve struggled to get it up to him but when we do it puts the other team under pressure.”
