Idrissa Sylla’s late equaliser rescued a point at the City Ground, where QPR have never won. Here’s how we rated the Rangers players in Saturday’s 1-1 draw.
Kept Rangers in the game with some smart saves and covering work to back-up a defence that was playing too high up the field.
A solid display against his old club, with a couple of crunching – but fair – tackles.
Given a torrid time by Britt Assombalonga – the Forest striker’s movement and pace caused the R’s captain all sorts of problems in the first half. Redeemed himself, though, in the second half with some good blocks.
Had problems at times against a tricky, pacey Forest forward line but was calm and composed.
Still short of match practice, but the left-back wasn’t scared to get involved. A solid spell in the second half saw Robinson charging forward and covering well at the back.
Sent off midway through the first half for two bookings – the first, a needless caution for dissent and the second a foul on Henri Lansbury.
A workmanlike display; he held the midfield together after Henry’s sending off.
A quiet game from the Polish winger, with no telling contributions.
A mixed bag from Chery; his set pieces were again wasteful, but he was disciplined when asked to play in midfield after Henry’s sending off.
Bright in spells and his movement worried the Forest backline in the second half. Taken off when having his best spell of the game.
A bad day for the German, whose poor touch and footwork were a problem throughout.
Lively and caused the Forest defence problems with his pace, but his final ball failed to find its target on most occasions. Had a decent effort on goal though when his shot flew narrowly over.
Brought on late in the game and delivered once again with his fourth goal of the season.
Also brought on late and made a telling contribution: a stunning cross for Sylla’s equaliser.
