No approach from QPR for Sissoko
QPR have not made an approach for Toulouse’s Moussa Sissoko.
They were reported to be interested in the 22-year-old midfielder, who is expected to join Newcastle.
Rangers boss Harry Redknapp is keen to sign at least one midfielder during the transfer window and is still waiting for Tottenham to confirm that Jake Livermore can go to Loftus Road on loan.
Redknapp recently agreed a deal to take Livermore, 23, to west London for the rest of the season but the move is on hold because of an injury to Spurs star Sandro.
And on Tuesday afternoon Rangers were still waiting for the green light to complete their proposed signing of Yann M’Vila, which they had hoped to conclude early this week.
Terms were recently agreed for the player’s move from Rennes, who have since suggested other clubs are interested.
It has been reported that M’Vila, 22. is set to join Russian outfit Rubin Kazan.
