New signing De Wijs not ready to play for QPR
QPR manager Mark Warburton has confirmed that recent signing Jordy de Wijs will not be available for Monday’s game at Watford.
The centre-back has been nursing a calf problem and has not featured since his arrival from Hull.
“Jordy won’t be ready for Monday,” Warburton told Rangers’ website.
“He’s working with the medical team and will be coming to us [the main training group] shortly.
“Other than that, we have got one or two niggles and we’ll see how the next couple of days shape up.”
Lee Wallace recently returned to training after a hamstring problem and is expected to be in the squad.

How many times has this situation with a new arrival happened – are we always going to be getting old crocks who need weeks before they are fit enough to play?
