Millwall comeback stuns QPR youngsters
QPR’s development side were beaten 4-2 by Millwall on Tuesday afternoon despite scoring twice in the opening five minutes at the Lions’ training ground.
The Rangers team, managed by former Millwall man Marc Bircham, went ahead with goals from Peter Skapetis and Mike Petrasso.
But their opponents hit back before Cole Kpekawa almost restored the lead with an effort that was cleared off the line and Tom Hitchcock also went close for QPR after being set up by substitute Angelo Balanta.
And after Millwall scored again with 13 minutes remaining, the unlucky Kpekawa saw his free-kick come back off the crossbar before Rangers conceded a late fourth.
