Six-figure fine and formal warning for Mbia
QPR have issued Stephane Mbia with a six-figure fine and a formal warning following comments posted from his Twitter account.
In a recent tweet, the Cameroon international appeared to ask Joey Barton if he would like to swap clubs with him again and return to Loftus Road.
Mbia joined Rangers from Marseille in January, when Barton left to join the French side on loan for the rest of the season.
The club investigated the matter and Mbia said that he did not post the comments, insisting his account had been hacked.
But QPR concluded that players are ultimately responsible for what appears on their Twitter account and fined Mbia two weeks’ wages – the maximum penalty available to clubs under the terms of players’ contracts.

That will be no less than 5 mill. for two years!! (50k*100).

6 figures means a min of 50k a week. Thus over half a million for his 2 years service. Shows our wage structure was and is insane.
