Manager Hasselbaink sacked by QPR

QPR have sacked Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

The Dutchman was dismissed after Rangers’ 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest, having won only 14 of his 47 matches since taking over as manager at Loftus Road last December.

He leaves with the club 17th in the Championship table, six points above the relegation zone.

Rangers announced his departure on Saturday evening, adding that “a further update regarding the club’s managerial situation will be made in due course.”
