Faurlin passed fit to return for QPR

Alejandro Faurlin has been passed fit for QPR’s game against Birmingham.

Rangers’ popular midfielder has missed their last three matches with a thigh problem but trained on Friday and is in the squad for Saturday’s game at Loftus Road.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s side will be looking for just their third win in 16 matches since the Dutchman took over as manager.

This week’s 1-1 draw at Sheffield Wednesday left the R’s 13th in the Championship table, 13 points adrift of the play-off places.

Meanwhiile, Celta Vigo midfielder Yelko Pino is training with QPR ahead of a possible move to the club.
