Jamie Mackie has warned QPR are in for a torrid time at Stoke this weekend unless they get their act together at set-pieces.
Sloppy defending at free-kicks and corners has been the scourge of Rangers’ winless season so far and they were undone again against Reading on Sunday.
That does not bode well for Saturday’s trip to face a Stoke side regarded as set-piece specialists.
And R’s forward Mackie admitted: “It’ll be one of the toughest games of the season. They’re a very good side. We know what’s coming.
“As a team, from set-pieces we need to be better. We need to work on it a bit more and demand more off each other.
“You don’t mind if someone scores a world class goal against you, but there haven’t been too many of them against us to be honest.”
