QPR remain in discussions with Jamie Mackie over a new contract.
Mackie, whose current deal expires this summer, is in his second spell at Loftus Road and has been offered new terms.
Rangers’ financial position means the 31-year-old has been offered reduced wages.
Mackie will be available on a Bosman free transfer if he turns down the offer or at least decides to keep his options open.
Meanwhile, Karl Henry, whose contract is also due to expire, will be leaving after four years at Rangers.
Henry, 34, has not played since December, when he was told he had no future at the club following a fall-out with manager Ian Holloway.

release him, theres better in league 2
Just wish we would get proper explanations. Are we still worried about to get a whopping fine, have we agreed some sort of deal on the debt write off dispute but we aren't saying, are we spending all our money on lawyers or paying off managers?! If we are short of cash we need to sacrifice one of the players who'd get us a big fee so we can invest in players who will be here 2-3 years.
if thats a sign of things to come ,HEAVEN HELP US,yet another pointer to the fact that IH is NOT the right man to take our club forward,I blame our so called heiracy that continues to disappoint and that includes Les Ferdinand who also fails to justify his position within the club.Supporters everywhere must press home their complaints to the club throughout the summer break otherwise next season ,we could face a season of relegation.
Wouldn't bother
