Baptiste move completed as QPR loan out fringe players

Alex Baptiste has completed a loan move to Luton from QPR, who also arranged loan deals for Ilias Chair, Sean Goss and Charlie Owens on deadline day.

Baptiste moved on the defender’s 33rd birthday and appears to have played his last game for Rangers, where his contract expires this summer.

Goss, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Glasgow Rangers, has returned to Scotland to join St Johnstone.

Meanwhile, Chair and Owens have joined Stevenage and Wycombe respectively.

QPR have also been trying to arrange a loan move for Osman Kakay in the final hours of the transfer window.
