Lumley: Other QPR youngsters are waiting to come through

QPR goalkeeper Joe Lumley says the club have several talented youngsters waiting in the wings to show what they can do.

The 24-year-old has emerged through the ranks to establish himself as Rangers’ number one this season and believes others will soon follow in his footsteps.

“I’m always saying to the young keepers ‘you’ve got a great opportunity to play’ – not only the goalkeepers, all the young outfield players as well,” Lumley told West London Sport.

“There’s a lot of good young players at the club that can handle this league, all hungry to play.”
