Luke Young has been added to QPR’s squad for Saturday’s match against Bournemouth.
The 34-year-old defender, who has not made a first-team appearance for two years, has travelled to the south coast because Aaron Hughes and Nedum Onuoha are both injured.
Hughes has been ruled out with a hamstring problem, while Onuoha is struggling with a calf strain.
Former England international Young has been troubled by a hip condition since being signed from Aston Villa in August 2011.
Danny Simpson, fit again following a recent injury, is expected to start at right-back for Rangers, who are also without Joey Barton but boosted by the return of top scorer Charlie Austin.
