Kpekawa completes move from QPR to Barnsley

Cole Kpekawa has completed his move from QPR to Barnsley.
West London Sport revealed last week that Barnsley had submitted an offer for the defender, 20, and later revealed that a deal had been agreed for him to move to Oakwell.
Kpekawa, a product of Rangers’ youth system, was not in manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s first-team plans.
He made nine senior appearances for QPR, the most recent coming in this month’s EFL Cup game against Swindon.

I really hope that this isn’t something that will come back and bite us on the backside. Barnsley have done well with signing young players and selling them for large fees later on, John Stones being a case in point. Dissapointed as I thought the club had indicated that they would bring our young players through to the first team…
